Setup of Centralized Pension Processing Centres (CPPCs)
We cover all parts across the country including remote and hilly areas. For maintenance of geographically distributed pensioners, 10 CPPCS are setup at different locations. Centralised Payment of Pension is done from Head office level while dedicated CPPCs are setup for Defence, Navy and Airforce Pensioners.
Our CPPCs are functioning PAN India, viz. at Mumbai, Delhi, Allahabad, Chennai, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Jaipur, Patna & Kolkata for the purpose of disbursing pension, handling records and making necessary amendments in the system. Besides these, CPPCs are also carrying out following activities:
• Open fresh pension accounts in the pension application.
• Revision of Corrigendum PPOs
• Amendments in respect of Commutation /Fixed Medical Allowance (FMA) / Arrear / Data Cleansing / Modification of family pension rates / Lifetime Arrear (LTA) etc.
Pre-requisites for availing Pension Disbursement Facility:
o Before commencement of pension – Pensioners should have a Savings Bank Account preferably joint account with Spouse (Former or Survivor) with our Bank.
o Pensioner has to be intimate the same to PPO issuing authorities for sending the PPO to the paying branch through the respective link Branch for crediting the pension amount.
